ANNOUNCEMENT
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Due to the ever increasing greed of our state governments, Pennsylvania
is one of the few states that passed a law requiring eBay consignment businesses to obtain an auctioneers license to conduct
business, not to mention, charging 200 dollars a year plus $1.00 per auction listed. Therefore, WE, like many thousands
of others in Pennsylvania, can no longer afford to do eBay consignment business. I dont remember voting on this law,
do you? I thought this was a government OF the People, BY the People and FOR the people. This law was not FOR
the People, but FOR the Governement to line their pockets. Like many other decisions and laws made by our government,
this forced a lot of businesses to close their doors. Instead of making more in taxes from these people, once again
the law backfired. Instead of being happy with the tax paid on revenues from eBay business, the state wont event receive
those taxes because the businesses are closed. How illogical. Not to mention the money that these people
made stimulated the economy. They spent their money on other products as well. They should have researched
the consequences from these actions prior to voting on it. I am outraged at the level of stupidity running our country.
